9A -Testing the Hypothesis Part 2
I interviewed 5 more of my friends all of whom do not own
any pets. However, they do love animals even though they do not regularly interact
with any.
Who: There are many people who do not own pets and still
enjoy their company but would not take action towards helping them.
What: This need could differ from the need of wanting to get
justice over a personal experience in which your own pet or an animal you grew
fond of had been abused.
Why: The underlying cause of the outsiders’ need may be
different from people inside the boundary because everyone has had different
experiences with animals and have different feelings towards them.

Hey Isabella,
ReplyDeleteI found it very interesting that you interviewed 5 people who were all outside the boundary. Even though many people don't own pets, I feel like most people still care for animals and their health. I do agree that they may not feel the same level of care for animals health if they don't have any pets. I wish every person would sympathize with animals feelings and treat any animals they encounter with upmost care.

Hi Isabella,
ReplyDeleteAs Sander said above, I think its interesting that you chose to interview people that were "outside the boundary" as it gives a perspective into the group of people who may not be aware of issues such as animal abuse. While they may have not experienced animal abuse first hand, it's good that you gave them knowledge on the subject in hopes that animal abuse can be further prevented. You have a very worthy cause you want to see into fruition and we can only hope that in the future animal abuse will be considered a way of the past.
