14A - Halfway Reflection

1) To keep up with the requirements of this course I have done many things. I always make sure to look at the calendar to keep track of the assignments with their due dates. This is essential towards the success of the course so that you have the opportunity to get the most possible points towards your final grade. I also make sure to give my all on all of my assignments to make sure I am getting the most out of this class and to get honest feedback on how I am doing.

2) I do not think that I have reached a moment in this class in which I felt like “giving up.” This class makes very clear what is expected of you and the assignments really help you think differently when it comes to what a “problem” is. I had never thought of a problem being a kind of opportunity and this class has really opened my eyes to that. Although I have not struggled with this class much I do believe that my tenacious attitude has only increased since taking this course. I think this comes from my competitiveness to want to do well in addition to my aspiration of always wanting to be the best student that I can be.

3) My three tips:
  • Always have a positive mindset that you will get through challenges you face. There’s always a solution.
  • Time manage yourself so that you can focus on the course without going through unnecessary stress of meeting deadlines.
  • Be open to criticism and use it toward improvement. This course involves sending and receiving feedback. There’s also room to improve to so make sure to take advantage of doing that as you work through assignments.

  1. Hey Isabella,
You seem to very confident in your self and your work. Continue to spread positivity and I am sure you will continue to do great in the class. Unlike you, I have had some rough moments in the class. My advice to you is to remain confident, but be careful to not make any careless mistakes such as forgetting to submit the URL's. We are halfway through the class and i hope you second half is even better than the first!
