22A - Elevator Pitch No. 3

2) Reflection on feedback: I received lots of positive feedback once again on my last elevator pitch which I am happy to hear. I got a suggestion to change the orientation of my video in order to get rid of the two black bars from portrait mode which I thought was a good point. I also got a comment about making my pitch a bit longer. I revised my pitch again and though I appreciate the feedback I believe that everything I wanted to convey to my audience is already there.

3) What I changed: I made sure to film horizontally this time and it did look at lot better. I also decided to take my own advice from last time further and try to talk even slower this time around. I think I finally reached the perfect speed to convey my message clearly without it sounding that I am rushing or too nervous. I also felt much more confident this last time I was recording so I hope improved and sound better. Thanks again for all the feedback!

    Hey Isabella,

    This was your best elevator pitch yet. You sounded very confident and I see all the differences you made. Just like you, I feel like my elevator pitch has gotten so much better after following the feedback of others and creating my own feedback. Continue to be confident with everything you do and always use feedback to your advantage.

    Hi Isabella!

    You're elevator pitch this time around is much better than the last one. Not only because you filmed it horizontally to get rid of those black bars on both sides of the screen, but also because you seemed to gain more confidence while you present the speech. The speech seemed to flow more effectively as well as your body language. Keep it up!

I interviewed 5 more of my friends all of whom do not own any pets. However, they do love animals even though they do not regularly interact with any. Who: There are many people who do not own pets and still enjoy their company but would not take action towards helping them. What: This need could differ from the need of wanting to get justice over a personal experience in which your own pet or an animal you grew fond of had been abused. 30A - Final Reflection

1) This class overall has been an amazing experience and completely surpassed any expectations I had originally. The fun moments in this class were whenever I was able to create something myself such as the customer avatar. I dreaded the cupcakes since it was always only a few questions which could be on anything as well the elevator pitches since I don't like public speaking or recording myself on camera. 2) The experience that I'll definitely remember years later is creating my business idea for the opportunity that I identified. I never considered being an entrepreneur and didn't think I had the makings to become one either. But, with the design of this course and its assignments, I was able to learn a lot about myself and what I am capable of.
