30A - Final Reflection

1) This class overall has been an amazing experience and completely surpassed any expectations I had originally. The fun moments in this class were whenever I was able to create something myself such as the customer avatar. I dreaded the cupcakes since it was always only a few questions which could be on anything as well the elevator pitches since I don't like public speaking or recording myself on camera.
2) The experience that I'll definitely remember years later is creating my business idea for the opportunity that I identified. I never considered being an entrepreneur and didn't think I had the makings to become one either. But, with the design of this course and its assignments, I was able to learn a lot about myself and what I am capable of. I am most proud of my finished idea for Paws of Love.

3) I believe that at the end of this class I have developed a new mindset. I never thought like an entrepreneur and believe I'm starting to do so now. Even from just changing the mindset of thinking that a problem is actually an opportunity to grab hold of is something I had never thought about prior to this course. I do not think I will become an entrepreneur in the future but if I do want to, I know that I can do it.

4) The one recommendation I would make to the students who are going to journey down this path in the future is to never give up on your dreams. Everything may seem tough and life will throw things at you that you may not expect or think you can overcome, but with patience, hope and perseverance, I believe you can accomplish anything. To perform well in this class make sure to time manage yourself, give your all on assignments, and give honest feedback. Everything you do in this course will ultimately benefit you so you might as well try your best.

I had a lot of fun taking this course and it was great to communicate with the people that were in my group. Thanks for everything and good luck to all of you!

  1. Hey Isabella,
First off, I really like the picture you included in your post! It was very funny and adds to your reflection. Secondly, your advice to students is very positive and strong. I agree and think everyone should follow there dreams and can do anything they put their mind too. Your post helps me reflect on my experiences and encourages me to follow my dreams moving forward.

  2. Hi Isabella!

It's great to know that you now think more like an entrepreneur! Even though you think you might not follow this route as your occupation later in life, thinking like one may benefit you when you least expect it! You did a great job on your business idea / and everything related towards it. I hope to see you execute your nonprofit company one day!
