3A - My Entrepreneurship Story

An entrepreneurship story that I can share is one that I'm actually living out right now! I'm currently doing an internship with a direct marketing firm called Symbio Global Inc. My boss who is the CEO of the company is Rania Baker. She started off working for a different company with the same mission and then eventually after gaining so much experience and doing well, branched off and started her own company, Symbio Global Inc. I think that it is so inspiring to see a young woman become so successful and have the opportunity to follow her dreams to open up her own business. She is wonderful to work with and has helped make my internship experience fun and rewarding. I know that one day if I decide to open up my own business that it is attainable and it can be successful. 

The most technical reason that I have for taking this class is that I needed to take a class towards earning business elective credit. However, personally I was also very interested in taking this course. I have friends who have taken the course and told me great things about it and how valuable it was. I hope to gain a lot of knowledge from this class and be able to grow as a person and business woman.

    I think it is so awesome that you want to be a successful business women. I believe the opportunities for women in business should be equal with men, and I think women as CEO should be considered normal. Thanks to driven individuals like you I am positive we will see many women leaders in the near future who manage some of the top businesses. I hope to see you up at the top!

    From reading your post, it sounds like you have had a great experience to be able to work with and learn from an entrepreneur like Rania. I think it's super cool that you want to possibly someday apply that knowledge into your own life by starting your own business. For many years, its always been a dream of mine to hopefully one day start my own successful business, so I can relate to you in that aspect. As for the class itself, I'm in the same boat. I initially signed up for ENT3003 to fulfill my business elective credit, however I'm also hoping to gain something from this class that I can use further on in my career.

I interviewed 5 more of my friends all of whom do not own any pets. However, they do love animals even though they do not regularly interact with any. Who: There are many people who do not own pets and still enjoy their company but would not take action towards helping them. What: This need could differ from the need of wanting to get justice over a personal experience in which your own pet or an animal you grew fond of had been abused. 30A - Final Reflection

1) This class overall has been an amazing experience and completely surpassed any expectations I had originally. The fun moments in this class were whenever I was able to create something myself such as the customer avatar. I dreaded the cupcakes since it was always only a few questions which could be on anything as well the elevator pitches since I don't like public speaking or recording myself on camera. 2) The experience that I'll definitely remember years later is creating my business idea for the opportunity that I identified. I never considered being an entrepreneur and didn't think I had the makings to become one either. But, with the design of this course and its assignments, I was able to learn a lot about myself and what I am capable of.
